Armed Robbery Victim Manages To Get Gun From Suspect During Struggle, Shot Fired

ATLANTA, GEORGIA — Atlanta police are searching for a suspect involved in an attempted robbery at the Pure gas station on Jonesboro Road early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 6:15 a.m. when a man, armed with a gun, tried to steal money from gaming machines at the station.

A victim, who was cleaning the machines at the time and had asked customers to exit, confronted the suspect. During the altercation and struggle between the two, the gun was discharged, but no one was injured. The victim managed to disarm the suspect, who then fled the scene.

The identity of the suspect remains unknown, and police continue their investigation into the event.
