When something goes wrong and help is far away, even a simple problem can become serious. A deep cut that won’t stop bleeding. A fever that keeps climbing. An infection that starts small and gets worse overnight.

Most people try to solve that problem by stockpiling supplies. Bandages, medicines, antibiotics if they can find them. But anyone who has been preparing for a while knows supplies never last forever. They get used, expire, or simply run out.

What actually stays useful year after year is knowing what to do.

That idea is what pushed us to create the follow-up to The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies, written by Dr. Nicole Apelian, who is also a famous herbalist and survival expert. She spent decades gathering practical plant knowledge people once relied on when doctors were far away and pharmacies didn’t exist on every corner.

Since the book came out, we’ve been receiving a steady stream of messages from readers. Many of them say the same thing in different ways: they wanted to stop depending entirely on systems that can fail.

One message we received recently really stayed with us. The person who wrote it said we could share it with you:

**”Dear Nicole,

I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the release of your new book. I absolutely loved the first Lost Book of Herbal Remedies and I was thrilled to dive into the sequel. So far, it has exceeded my expectations.

Let me tell you what I loved most and what I found challenging… maybe you could consider that for any future book.

By the way, I see you have improved your delivery process. The new cardboard envelope you’re using, along with the plastic book covering, makes it almost indestructible. Good job!

I gotta confess, I wasn’t expecting it to be too different from the first version, which was not a bad thing.

But oh boy, when I opened the book to a random page and saw all those huge National Geographic-like pictures of the plants growing in their natural environment… wow, I was just amazed.

You guys, I can tell you put A LOT into the book. Not only with the pictures but also everything else from the detailed instructions to these section icons which made it easy to dart to the exact info I needed.

The simple instructions for making remedies have been wonderful. Now I can use all of the plants I pass by with confidence.

And even if plant identification has probably never been easier the thing that stood out for me the most… was the recipes!! The step-by-step antiparasitic remedy really did the job for me!

It came at the perfect time when I was dealing with a parasite infection and also unresolved joint pain. I needed a simple, effective way to handle both problems and these two remedies were life-savers.

Here’s the remedy I made:

BOR 2 Remedy

I used the Common Pepperweed remedy and paired it with Sweet Wormwood, exactly as you recommend in the book. I followed the dosage instructions and within a week the parasites were gone, without any nausea or side effects. My energy came back in a way I hadn’t felt in years. Looking back, I realized it wasn’t my age causing the chronic fatigue at all – it was the parasite, and nothing I had tried before worked like this remedy.

The only challenge I had was actually choosing between so many remedies. For example, for parasitic infection alone there are about 12 different recipes using different plants, so I caught myself going back and forth trying to decide which one to try first. Honestly, that was the only thing I found challenging, and it’s actually a good thing because it shows how complete the book really is.

All in all, this book has become just as indispensable for me as the first one.

Also, thank you so much for the three free bonuses I received. Honestly, I didn’t expect them at all, so it was such a nice surprise. I especially love the Wild Edibles book. I’ve been using it with my kids to explore the nature around our home, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite things to do together.

I’m truly grateful for all the effort you’ve put into helping people live a healthier life.

– Warm Regards”

Madison’s story is the kind of message we’ve been seeing more and more lately. People who have spent years preparing are starting to realize that a shelf full of medicine only goes so far. Sooner or later those bottles run low, expire, or simply aren’t available anymore when you need them.

That’s why many readers have started looking beyond stockpiles and focusing on knowledge they can actually carry with them. The kind of knowledge people relied on for generations, back when doctors could be days away and pharmacies didn’t exist in every town.

When you know which wild plants can help with infections, ease pain, or deal with parasites, that knowledge becomes something you can rely on in a crisis, when regular medicine isn’t available.

Messages like Madison’s come in every day from readers who decided to add The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies II to their survival library.

If you’re curious what’s inside and why so many people are adding it to their survival library, you can check it out and see it for yourself here.
