A U.S. soldier died Tuesday after receiving treatment for severe electrical burns sustained last week while on duty in Germany, the Army announced Friday. Spc. Jaylin Perez, 32, from Largo, Florida, was found unresponsive by members of his unit as they conducted a cargo security inspection of U.S. military equipment that was moving by rail near Berlin, Germany, according to U.S. Army Europe and Africa.First responders transported Perez to the Accident Burn Hospital in Berlin, where he later died.
