United States President Donald Trump has downplayed the economic impact of $100 a barrel oil as a “very small price to pay” in order to keep up the war efforts. “ONLY FOOLS WOULD THINK DIFFERENTLY!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. The surge in oil prices and subsequent damage to the U.S. economy could to be too much for many Americans. Right now, most everyday people are feeling the cost-of-living crisis as inflation crushes their purchasing power, and the costs of everything have skyrocketed. But you’ll get no sympathy from the ruling class, who are now telling people who can’t…

LOS ANGELES, CA — The ultra-exclusive enclave of Beverly Hills was rocked by gunfire Sunday afternoon in what appears to be a targeted attack on the residence of global superstar Rihanna. This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The Economic Collapse Blog. There is no way to get around it. We are facing a major global economic disruption, and the longer this war goes on, the worse it will get. As I have reminded my readers on numerous occasions, our entire way of life is predicated on cheap energy, and the Middle East is the most important energy-producing region in the entire world. Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has been paralyzed, and energy infrastructure has been under attack by both sides. In fact, this morning Tehran was “covered in…
Most preppers have their physical world locked down. They have food storage, water filtration, defensive tools, bug-out bags, and communication plans. They have thought through power outages, natural disasters, and grid-down scenarios with serious care and preparation. Then they use the same password for every account, store everything in a free cloud service they do not control, carry a smartphone that tracks their every movement, and have no plan for what happens when their digital life gets compromised, surveilled, or simply wiped out. Digital security is not a tech issue. It is a survival issue. In the modern world, your…
PARIS — European NATO countries reduced their reliance on the United States for weapons imports in the past year, funneling a greater share of their foreign defense acquisitions to South Korea, France and Israel, analysis by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute showed. The U.S. accounted for 58% of major arms imports by NATO’s European member states in the 2021-2025 period, according to a March 9 report by the Swedish think tank. That’s down from 64% for the five years through 2024, based on SIPRI’s year-earlier report.Europe stepped up defense spending following Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, prompting a more than…
The United States has never been attacked on its own soil during a world war. Many people see that history as proof that it cannot happen. That belief has existed for a long time. Still, the world today is very different from the past. Tensions with Iran continue to grow in the Middle East. Russia’s long-term goals remain unresolved. Instability in parts of Latin America adds pressure to an already fragile global situation. These problems do not exist separately. They affect energy markets, military alliances, and digital systems, which means a regional conflict could spread much faster than people expect.…
Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadUnless you’ve been taking a break from current events, you’re aware that the U.S. and Israel have launched a campaign of attacks against Iran, including the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, and Shia Cleric, Ali Hosseini Khamenei, which, as expected, prompted Iran to launch missile attacks at a number of Middle Eastern countries. That is prompting a variety of reactions in return. For many, especially in the in-tune-to-dangerous-times prepping community, there’s an unsettled feeling, maybe a worry-induced knot in our stomach, or something else that warns us this latest conflict could carry dangerous second-…

For most of my life, I took a loaf of store-bought bread with me whenever I went camping. I like having toast in the morning, and I love the taste of bread toasted over a fire. Only recently did it occur to me that I could make a fresh loaf of bread while camping. But why not? I went online to look for ideas on how to do this. I knew I wanted something that would be simple to make. Something with only a few ingredients that doesn’t no special tools or kneading the dough. Eventually, I found a recipe…
