Drake Security Guard Shot Outside Drake’s Mansion, Suspect at Large

TORONTO, ONTARIO (2-minute read) – In a shocking incident early Tuesday morning, a security guard was shot at the entrance to the high-profile residence of rapper Drake in Toronto’s Bridle Path neighborhood.

Toronto Police were quick to respond to the shooting report at approximately 2:10 AM. They discovered the injured security guard who was promptly taken to the hospital with serious injuries, where he remains under medical care.

The assailant, who has yet to be identified, reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle immediately after the shooting. The area around Drake’s property was quickly cordoned off as police began their investigation.

While it is unclear if Drake was present at his home during the incident, authorities confirmed that he and his team are cooperating with the ongoing police investigation. The incident comes amid heightened media attention due to a lyrical dispute between Drake and fellow artist Kendrick Lamar, though no motive for the shooting has been established.
