The company’s new chassis system turns the P365 into an ultra-compact PDW designed for vehicle carry and rapid deployment.

Flux Defense has introduced a new P365 Ultra-Light Chassis System, a drop-in PDW-style frame for the SIG P365 family.

The company is positioning the platform as a “Vehicle Defensive Weapon” (VDW) built for glovebox or center-console storage and fast use in confined spaces.

The chassis uses existing P365 fire control units, slides, and barrels (not included), and weighs just 8.7 ounces. According to Flux Defense, the setup is roughly 85 percent lighter and three inches shorter than an MP5K while offering increased control, accuracy, and available capacity.

The system’s patented Speedload feature allows faster reloads than a standard pistol, and the design supports up to 50 rounds with optional magazine extensions. A built-in shroud gives the shooter a secure C-clamp grip, helping keep the gun flatter during rapid fire.

Construction consists of glass-filled nylon, S7 steel components, and a Type 3 hard-anodized shroud. An optional 6-inch barrel is available for users who want greater velocity than the standard P365 configuration.

Flux includes its new adjustable 2.0 IWB/OWB holster with every chassis. The holster can be mounted inside a vehicle for fixed access or worn conventionally.

Dimensions

  • Collapsed: 9.75″ L x 4″ W x 1.375″ H
  • Extended: 18.5″ L x 4″ W x 1.25″ H
  • Length of Pull: 13.5″

“Our intent was to build a system that is extremely light, concealable, and controllable,” said Cory David, CEO of Flux Defense. “It’s small enough to deploy inside a vehicle cabin and fits in a glovebox or center console. By including the 2.0 holster, users have a ready-to-use setup right away.”

The chassis is compatible with P365XL, TACOPS, and P365 FUSE slides. It does not work with standard-length P365 slides or 12- and 15-round magazines. Flux recommends using 17- to 21-round P365 magazines for proper fit and function.

The P365 Ultra-Light Chassis System is available now through authorized dealers and at fluxdefense.com.
