FORT WORTH, TEXAS (2-minute read) — A juvenile was fatally shot on Wednesday night in the far south region of Fort Worth during an attempted robbery. The incident took place around 8:40 p.m. in the 9200 block of Saint Martin Road, as reported by local police.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the juvenile on the ground, suffering from gunshot wounds. The individual who fired the shot was also present and cooperating with the authorities. According to the police report, the boy had attempted to rob the individual at gunpoint. A struggle ensued over the firearm, resulting in it discharging and striking the boy in the upper body.
Emergency services transported the boy to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been disclosed by the authorities.
