XS Sights has just released new lineup extensions of their optics plates and minimalist night sights compatible with two very popular self-defense-oriented handguns: the Walther PDP and the Diamondback SDR.

These products are designed for shooters who are looking for an upgrade over the factory fiber optic sights offered on either the SDS or the PDP—whether for concealed carry, law enforcement duty use, or competition—and are now available for direct purchase on the XS Sights website.

For the Diamondback SDR revolver, XS Sights is now offering compatibility with their Minimalist Night Sights. These sights utilize a serrated, blacked-out rear with an anti-glare finish and a tritium “Glow Dot” front post, focusing the shooter’s eye toward the target and providing some extra utility in low-light conditions via the tritium ampule.

The rear sight is windage adjustable and features a wide notch to help shooters rapidly align the front sight. According to the official XS Sights press release, these sights are intended as a simple and effective upgrade for self-defense or daily carry. Minimalist Sights for the Diamondback SDR are priced at $118.89 right now on the XS Sights website.

Walther PDP owners are getting a bit more attention and have several new options, including optic plates for $82.99 each. The plates are compatible with popular red dot footprints such as RMR and ACRO, and are made from precision-machined steel with a Black Nitride finish for corrosion resistance.

These plates are meant for straightforward mounting with either the Trijicon RMR or Aimpoint ACRO optic footprints. Other than the RMSc, these two footprints currently dominate the pistol red dot footprint market.

“Our goal is to give shooters more capability with less compromise.”

“Whether someone is configuring a compact revolver for personal protection or building out a PDP for competition or duty, these new Minimalist, fiber-optic and optic plate solutions deliver clear sight pictures, durable construction, and straightforward installation—all designed and manufactured to help people get on target faster and keep their focus downrange.”

For those who like to do all of their upgrades at once and keep things brand-specific, XS Sights also offers a Minimalist OR and Plate Bundle for the Walther PDP at $157.48.

This provides both the optic plate and a low-profile backup iron sight set that doesn’t obstruct your field of view, as it’s a very low co-witness. For those who prefer bright, visible sights for range or competition, XS Sights lists their Fiber Optic Sight sets for the PDP at $66.00.

All XS Sights products include a Limited Lifetime Warranty, and any tritium-equipped products carry a 12-year illumination warranty. For ordering details, technical specifications, installation guides, or to explore additional accessories, visit https://xssights.com/.
